What abdominal etching is
High definition micro-liposuction removes the layer of fat that hides the abdominal muscles, and removes a little more along the natural grooves between them. The result is a flatter abdomen with visible definition, not just a smaller one.
It uses the same micro instrument as Fun Sculpting, so skin tightening happens in the same treatment. No heat, no burning, no general or IV sedation.

Recovery
Most people are back to light activity within days. Swelling settles over the following weeks and the definition sharpens as the skin retracts. We give you a timeline and aftercare instructions for your specific plan.

How is this different from regular liposuction?
Regular liposuction removes fat to make an area smaller. High definition micro-liposuction removes fat in a pattern that follows your abdominal muscles, so the shape of the muscles shows through.
Do I need to be in great shape first?
You need to be at or near a stable weight. You do not need visible abs already. The procedure reveals the muscle you have; it works best when there is a moderate layer of fat over it, not a large one.
Will I be put to sleep?
No. This is a minimally invasive, awake body sculpting procedure with local anesthesia only. No general or IV sedation.
Will I have a scar?
The micro instrument goes in through very small openings, so the marks are tiny and usually easy to hide.
